This post is for any of you out there whose children play sports, especially baseball. A curious side effect we have noticed is if my son takes oral GSH right before a baseball game, he simply cannot hit the ball. His timing is off just enough that he’ll strike out virtually every time. So, the rule we’ve been following for years is no GSH within 1 hour before a baseball game. I’ve never seen any noticeable effect on any other aspect of the game such as catching, throwing, running, pitching, etc… Nor have I seen any negative effects in any other sport. My son is 12 and has been taking oral GSH since he was 5. Other seasonal sports he plays are basketball, soccer, & swim team. Has anyone else noticed any odd things like this? Just curious.
