We did raise prices marginally and now are charging a flat rate shipping of $3.99. We had not raised pricing for the last 8-9 years nor have we charged shipping. Raw materials have increased and shipping has gone up considerably over the years as has the cost of everything else i.e. labels, boxes, tape, etc. Simply put, the old pricing and free shipping was unsustainable - especially for single bottle orders. This said, If a customer orders 3 bottles or more, the increase turns out to be about 3%, flat rate shipping included. In this wise, we are trying to motivate multiple bottle purchases for each order. This helps us in 2 ways: keeps pricing reasonable and lower than otherwise possible and helps keep our cash flow above the red. We understand it hits hardest to those on fixed incomes so know that we will continue to work closely with you for special cases.
Unfortunately, the back-order was caused by a machine that went down and our packager has been waiting for a part. Other than pulling my hair out, there's not much in the way of alternative options either- we are having to wait. As you know, we require near Pharmaceutical conditions and have very unique needs. Our packager is aware of this and is working hard to speed things up. Current expectation is to have our product completed either end of this week or first of next - warranted the part comes in and no other issues arise. Hope this clarifies.
Oh, if you could also pass the word on that we have launched our new web site with some new product lines we are very excited about. As such, Patrons should update favorites etc so they go to the right place. Also, we have been made aware of some link issues coming in from the forums (links people set to old website pages that no longer exist). As we do not control these links, we are attempting to find a workaround as we see them - just one of the things associated with site overhauls. Thanks for all your help.
