My older son, Ross(no CF), is in college on a Kinesiology tract(Athletic trainer/Physical therapy). In one of his classes there was a section on cystic fibrosis in which the professor talked about how sickly these patients are. Ross quickly piped up and told the professor that John isn't sickly at all and also talked about John running the 5K. The professor is perplexed and now wants John to come down for an exercise study (one of those tests where he will run on a treadmill while hooked up to a bunch of machines that will take all kinds of readings). How cool is that?

I thank God every day for the miracle of GSH. I still have the Woman's Day magazine with the article about GSH. A co-worker brought me that magazine in 2003 and it is one of my most prized possessions...has pictures of roses on the front cover. I ought to have it framed.
