My oldest with CF just had to get ESS (endoscopic sinus surgery) for sinus pain--certainly related to CF. What was amazing, however, was when they did the culture of the stuff they pulled out, all he cultured in there was Haemophilus influenzae b! The doctor was amazed! We were all amazed! They didn't even bother giving him an oral antibiotic--just a nasal wash with antibiotics in it! All those years of GSH played a part in this, I am sure!
