What GSH has done for our daughter

I have not posted since May of last year about how GSH has helped our 9-year-old daughter. She has been taking the oral GSH since Dec. of 2004. We recently stopped the GSH only because we wanted to see if we could reduce the number of enzymes she is taking. We believe we can! GSH has continued to aid in digestion, allowing our daughter to grow at an extremely normal rate. This was not the case pre-GSH. She also rarely complains of stomach pain and has a better appetite. As you know, weight and nutrition affect the overall health of CF lungs, so digestion should be considered just as important as CPT. We use the GSH curc caps which seem to have the correct ingredients to make a difference in our daughter's health. Since it is not part of most of the CF center's treatment plan, the decision to administer GSH is a personal choice. But, if I have yet to find anything negative from anyone that has used it or is using it. I want to make sure that those that are willing to try it are not missing out on the opportunity to help your CF children or yourself feel better.
