2008 was an interestingly challenging, but wonderful year for our family. It had it's ups and downs but has ended on a very high note. GSH, although not what we had hoped for, has been a blessing. It has brought us new friends, a ton of very useful information from many of you on this website, hope, excitement and better health. Although we do not see directly the affects of GSH because overall our daughter is healthy, we do feel that it helps her sinuses. She started culturing PA when she was six-years-old, just shortly after we started oral GSH so we don't really know if GSH would have prevented the growth of PA or not. She also cultured MRSA in May of this year. But, she has continued to thrive and hold strong and her PFT's are "normal". Her weight is great, despite many bouts of diarrhea and/or constipation and highs and low with her appetite. We are so thankful for her doctors. the medication and your advice. This website has blessed me in particular as it has been a source of hope and inspiration for me when I found myself frustrated and at my wits end. I am so thankful that GSH has helped lots of folks and am hopeful that in a few years, with more trials and research, that it will be a very important part of a CFer's treatment plan at CF Centers across the country. Please continue to be a part of this website and provide useful and beneficial advice and problem solving. It helps more than you know. May God bless each of you in 2009 with new therapies, exciting research and good health. Happy New Year.
