Our eldest with CF, John, is a large and husky kid; 6'1" and about 210 pounds. He is very strong--in fact, he excelled at carpentry, winning the state competition in that event this spring. He does not cough, and he has a tremendous appetite. He played in varsity ice hockey this year, as well. And he got into his preferred university, and will start there as a freshman in the Fall! You would never know he had CF. I thank God for giving our family knowledge about glutathione and other substances that made this possible. I remember when John was first diagnosed, he was not even on the weight charts, he was so malnourished. We thought he was going to die, or that his life would be miserable. Through God's grace in providing knowledge of what to do to help him, I can honestly say that John's life is a very good life. And he is a good and upright man, who I believe will make a real contribution for good to the world around him. Take that, CF! |
