She was a spirited young woman from Montreal and had just arrived from a kabutz in Isreal when we met. Her waistlength brown hair, those large brown eyes and a laugh that seemed to say life is just for happiness will never be forgotten. She was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. I recall that she was a dental assistant and that for everyone from patient to doctor her warmth and uplifting presence melted away the pains of the day. Years later, I heard she had finally fallen in love with a truly good man and that she had told friends she was at long last happy. If ever she was not happy for very long she sure hid it well. Yet I know now that a true love was what she had been longing for and seeking. He was probably on the same flight. I also heard that like others on that flight, she had just returned from or was on her way to a spiritual retreat. Even though I know she died doing what she loved the most and being with her true love, it still saddens me that hse has passed. Were she not on the list I be would calling everyone in Montral with her last name to track her down just to hear that laugh and to whish her a merry Christmas. Merry Christmas anyway, Dianne. Love, Ken
