It's simply a quirky song about liking white women. Russell Mael mention that it was in style to be into "exotic" races (I think he used Brown Sugar by The Rolling Stones as an example of that type of song) so they wanted to write a song honoring white women. After all we see white guys admitting they are into "Asian chicks", girls who are into "black guys" etc. This song is s a satire to that phenomenon and so Sparks simply just jokingly react to that and saying they are into white women as so many white people seems ot be into other races. I don't think they are serious after all there was an interview where he asked this
"Q. You once said being in a band is a good way to go around the world, experience people from other cultures… and then sleep with them. So where’s the best?
A. Well, sex knows no boundaries. So I think there’s no one culture better or worse. They’re all equally up for the task."
So obviously they are not racial specific in their taste of women but it was a funny humerous satire of people who were interested in minorities. I don't think there's any satire of white supremecist or making fun of people who are into white women.
: You're taking it too seriously. It's not
: racist because it's a parody of white
: supremacists. No different from how I like
: girls isnt homophopic.

: I know that you like the song but I find the
: description that it is racist a bit
: disturbing. It's certainly un-PC though.
: If we treat race and skin colour as merely a
: physical characteristic a person have.
: Well some people prefer tall people, some
: people prefer short people, some people
: prefer blonde hair, brunettes, people with
: certain eye colour, people with more muscle,
: people with big breast, etc
: There's absolutely no reason why someone
: shouldn't allow to have a preference of skin
: colour. It's not like the song is saying
: it's wrong to like people with different
: skin colour but merely stating it's
: preference for the white skin colour in
: terms of sexual attraction.
: I mean racism is wrong because you
: arbitrarily using people skin colour to
: dislike them or exclude them from occupation
: or at the most extreme commit violence etc.
: You don't defeat racism by arbitrarily
: elevating skin colour to the level of
: importance above every other physical
: features in your body and treating it as
: some sort of sacred cow. The solution is to
: simply treat it like any other physical
: characteric a person has.
: Like Jerry Seinfeld said "If I like
: their race, how can that be racist?"
: It's really politics and cultural and
: historical connotation which has nothing to
: do with basic principles of treating race as
: equals that it could be consider offensive.
