that Moraz was still a member when they did the solo albums/solo album tour, for some reason I always assume it was one of Wakeman's albums. I'll definitely need to check out Moraz', I haven't heard anything he's done outside of Relayer and the 80s Moodies I actually DO have Alan White's solo album on vinyl! I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but it's very weird that he didn't write anything on his so-called solo album. I know he's not the most prolific writer but he has composed some stuff so I would have thought he would've at least gotten a cocredit on something. Hell, I would assume that one of the tracks at least would have something resembling a drum solo even if he didn't take part in writing anything else. I guess the album is the same sort of situation as Nick Mason's "solo album" a few years later--slap the name of the famous drummer/producer on the album and increase sales! Then again, anyone dedicated enough to buy an Alan White solo album would probably buy something he produced and drummed on anyway, so whatever... |
