Possible, but it seemed like he was starting to scrape the bottom of the D barrel by the end of that list (were there any D-rated albums that weren't in the top 150?). As for me, my grade is: 10. Aeroplane is definitely my personal equivalent of John giving 10 to To Our Children's Children's Children. I can't even entirely explain why because I usually prefer 60s and 70s music and when I went to see Jeff Mangum live, I felt rather out of place among all the crying men with beards and flannel (really, I'm only stereotyping a little bit). But I've always found it emotionally devastating and one of those albums that works incredibly well as a whole. |
