I was expecting to be more disappointed with his second LP, since Pete Townshend's praise of "Smash" for showing the rest of the band the true Entwistle they never knew was persuasive enough for me, whereas the only critique I read of "Whistle Rymes" was George's review of it. Granted, he didn't bash it (an 11 is good, after all), but I think that, despite certain production differences, it's almost on par with its predecessor.
