The single version was rerecorded after the original album had already come out with a different producer (Mutt Lange of all people) and everything. Both versions are cool, but I think I like the album one ever so slightly more (Andy's vocals on the single are a bit too exaggerated for me). The Coat of Many Cupboards boxset is probably the best place to get the single version, since to my knowledge it's never appeared as a bonus track on any of their normal albums.
