Once Starostin removed the link on his site to Music Babble I made a decision to never post on the board again. This is not out of animosity, and I harbor no ill will toward anyone on the board. I just decided that my posts were benefitting no one, myself included.
I actually went a number of years without even reading Music Babble. Recently, however, I started reading it again.
There's currently a troll on the site that people believe is me. It is not. I won't post that there, however, as I take my promise to myself never to post there again very seriously. One innocuous post could lead to more; it's a slippery slope, one I choose to avoid.
I didn't even really care if people thought the troll with me. The only reason I posted this was because Ken made a sincere gesture toward that troll believing it to be me, which made me feel that I should at least respond in some way.
My promise to both Music Babble and myself remains: I will never, ever post on that board again. This is for the best for everyone.
Once again, I apologize for taking up space on John's message board, and repeat that he's free to delete it.
