the entire discs of "Good Vibrations" and "Heroes and Villains" actually *were* really interesting. Those songs are famous for long histories of being altered and revised tons of times, and there's a lot of stuff recorded for them that never made the cut. They might not be worth more than a single listen in their entireties but they were still about the most interesting an entire disc of one song could possibly be.
If I recall correctly Like A Rolling Stone similarily went through a lot of changes before it became what it was, so the disc might actually make for a fascinating little audio-documentary.
