The thing about Rubber Soul is that the modern day releases of it are not the original stereo mixe, but the 1987 remixes. The original 1965 stereo is on the Mono Cd Box Set.

Rubber Soul has a very weird stereo mix, like it was recorded from a two-track because they wanted it to sound decent on mono players.

The mono mix has some differences like the cowbell on Drive My Car comes in later, The ending guitar on What Goes On is a little differently and you can hear a cough on Norwegian Wood.
