I was just listening to the Kinks' Arthur album, and I happened to notice that the horn riff on "Nothing to Say" that first pops up at 47 seconds sounds an awful like the horn riff on 5:15 on Quadrophenia. (Well, the other way around, since Arthur came out first.) We all know Pete Townshend loved and was influenced by the Kinks, so this actually makes sense. Just thought I'd point that out.
