New Flaming Lips track

What are the general opinions here of the Lips' new track, "The Castle?" I personally like it a good bit. I'm a fan of this instrumentation, which is a blend of great synth textures and loops with sections of piano and guitar (though I can't help feeling like it would have been even better with real drums), and I really like Steve's acapella vocals on the intro. I think the verses are melodically stronger than the choruses, which feel kinda underdeveloped. I want to call attention to the lyrics on this track. I dig the fairytale theme, and the way the lyrics go from sounding so happy to revealing a much darker meaning is really effective: One day a strange storm rolled in While she was riding on her dragon The mushrooms and the bumblebees Told the flowers how it happened She was lost in the invisible war Fighting in the battle Her love is still buried there In the ruins of the castle Damn. I'd love to hear other opinions of the song!
