Yeah, the existence of good music hasn't really changed, but the ways you find it have. All the interesting stuff is happening either on mid-size indie labels or cool small-scale artists on Bandcamp and the like.

Last year was actually a really good year for music, in my opinion. My albums of the year list on Rate Your Music came out to 26 albums.
