This past month was a bit of a grinding slog as is, but the coup de Grace was the unexpected death from a drunk driver last weekend of an old friend and one of my favorite people. I've been in a massive fog all week, and among other things, I don't expect it to clear up in the next few days. Forcing myself to churn out thoughts on what was not an especially inspiring batch this month just sounds awful, and I'm not going to try. I should be fine by next month.
