Years after getting over my old beef with live albums, I think I'd give first prize to "Take Me to the River" on The Name of This Band Is Talking Heads. The combination of the gospel vocals and intense bass work makes it sound like the end of the world. "The Great Curve" actually comes off as a let-down after it, for me.
