Idk man, maybe if King Crimson is the only other band you've listened to, eheh. I can't think of a less similar vocalist than John Wetton. Adrian Belew makes a bit more sense, if only in that they share some of the same vocal tics that every post-punk singer of the era seemed to share (throw David Byrne and Mark Mothersbaugh in there as well).

Then again Partridge's later, cartoon-ier, Oranges and Lemons-era voice always reminds me of Elton John for some unknown reason, so who knows how these associations work?
