"Most of the guitar parts are supposedly played by Steve (though only a scant few bear the stylistic markings indicating they were conceived by him), except for on "Dangerous" (starring some talentless wanker named Jimmy Haun)".
The reason why only a "scant few" bear those stylistic markings is because he actually plays a lot less on the album then you listed.
In a 2000-2001 interview (series of emails) with Jimmy Haun, he says the guitar parts he played on the album:
- In addition to "Dangerous", Howe does not appear on "Shock to the System" (though he wrote the opening riff), "Without Hope You Cannot Start the Day", and "Take The Water to the Mountain". Haun plays all the guitar parts on those.
- On "I Would Have Waited Forever", Howe only plays the ending solo and guitar lines from 0:25-0:49. The rest are Haun.
- On "Silent Talking", Howe plays a couple of riffs (such as 0:46-1:03) but the rest are by Haun.
- On "Holding On", Howe only plays the riff from 0:31-0:47. The rest are Haun.
