That is a tough question. I don't think I personally would, though since I never rated my music publicly on anything I guess I'll never be able to know either way.

I will say though that sometimes listening to an album that I hadn't heard before can push around my rankings wildly. Animals, for example, easily pushed the other 70's Floyd albums into second place by comparison.

Actually, I think I have an example. 50 Words for Snow by Kate Bush. I liked it a lot at the time, but it's no Aerial (which I loved upon first hearing and still do).
