How do people feel about this? I know some don't care, and I don't think doing it is inherently bad, but I have rarely ever seen it work out


For example: 'Me or Him' from Radio Kaos by Roger Waters is a drippy synth-drenched redo of 'Folded Flags' from Roger Waters' soundtrack to When the Wind Blows and the original is so much better. (It's standard Roger Waters angry ballad stuff, but it sounds better, is orchestrated better, and the lyrics are better)

Any other examples and opinions?
