This is the month for "lovers" and a month that has the groundhog looking for its shadow.
In recent years, we have experienced warm winters.
There has been many years of continuous days of zero or below weather.
I look back to winters of my youth and middle age.
Those winters were hard to take with temperatures days on end of zero or below degrees.
On the 12th of this month would have been my 32nd year wedding anniversary.
But that all came to end this year, when she requested that we separate.
It was all due to her gambling.
She just was addicted to gambling and to hades with anything else, food included.
She would borrow and I had to make good on those debts.
It just got to be a bit much.
Well so much for all that...
