Sometimes all those things don't mix well.
Be especially careful, of children and fireworks, even sparklers.
Years back, my daughter burn one foot badly because she was running around bare footed and step on one that just went out.
I spented the rest of the night packing her foot in ice till it got too cold and painful.
But it held the scarring down, that you would never know that had occured.
You read or hear of some being blinded by a mis-directed bottle rocket and some losing a finger or hand due to a firework going off before it was supposed to.
Its great to celebrate oue independance but not to the point of having to go to the hospital.
Some are or will be far from home as we are still in Afghanistan and Iraq besides all the other places that our military is located.
We wish them well and a safe return home.
Well with that said...
