A person's personality in cyberspace or the web.
How much can we tell of a person's personality in cyberspace?
Some are agreeable, others are right out hostile.
The web can can be a useful place where one can enhance one's knowledge.
It also can be a very dangerous place.
Some come to web seeking love
and there's some that will use that
to prey on these unsuspecting men and women.
Some might pose as being one thing or person
when they are an other.
Unless a person has a video cam on,
you never know what they look like in person.
Not what they appear like in cyberspace.
Cyberspace
While cyberspace should not be confused with the real Internet, the term is often used simply to refer to objects and identities that exist largely within the communication network itself,
so that a web site, for example, might be metaphorically said to "exist in cyberspace."
According to this interpretation, events taking place on the Internet are not therefore happening in the countries where the participants or the servers are physically located, but "in cyberspace".
The "space" in cyberspace has more in common with the abstract, mathematical meanings of the term than physical space.
It doesn't have the duality of positive and negative volume (while in physical space for example a room has the negative volume of usable space delineated by positive volume of walls,
Internet users cannot enter the screen and explore the unknown part of the Net as an extension of the space they're in),
but spatial meaning can be attributed to the relationship between different pages
(of books as well as web servers),
considering the un-turned pages to be somewhere "out there."
The concept of cyberspace therefore refers
not to the content being presented to the surfer, but rather to the possibility of surfing among different sites, with feedback loops between the user and the rest of the system
creating the potential to always encounter something unknown or unexpected.
Virtual Reality
Some see cyberspace to be virtual reality.
Virtual Reality which we are deceived into thinking is true reality.
All the above has led to what now termed Cyberpsychology.
Cyberpsychology is the study of human mind
and behavior in the context of human-technology interaction.
However, mainstream research studies seem to focus on the impact of the Internet and cyberspace on the psychology of individuals and groups.
Some hot topics include: on line identity management, personality types in cyberspace, transference to computers, addiction to computers and Internet,
regressive behavior in cyberspace, on line gender-switching, etc.

Beauty and the Beast: Looks vs. Personality
In this world of sleek super models and shiny movie stars, beauty and good looks are rewarded with money, respect, praise, and reverence.
While models and actors only make up a minuscule segment of the population, a far-reaching media may seem to threaten to infiltrate the minds of the rest of us.
While people may impose pressure on themselves
to be as beautiful as the figures in the high fashion magazines, those seeking a mate are not so judgmental.
We might have to ask the question;
Are looks really that important in cyberspace,
a place that does not really exist physically?
