This message board is in support of members of the Marine Corps and their relatives, and friends
Well this is the last month of the year.
And what a year its been, for some it brought endless joy.
For other folks it brought endless sorrow and grief.
Just like today 6 December , some Causality Assistance Officers (CAO), will be contacting the families of 10 service members of our armed forces on the death of a son or daughter in Iraq.
This being the month of Joy and Good Will, there might not be too much joy in the homes those CAOs will visit.
It will be a nightmare come true.
I made a web page on the "Perfect Christmas Gift".
The Perfect Christmas Gift
Nothing material will ever be the "Perfect Christmas Gift" only feelings of goodwill and love towards all mankind will be the Perfect Christmas Gift.
It should not be when we are programmed by tradition and the merchants from Thanksgiving on till 25 December.
This year the commericals and ads for Christmas started before Thanksgiving Day.
The day after Thanksgiving Day is named "Black Friday" because its a day that shoots some merchants from the red into the black.
Well with that I will close,
The only thing left to do, is to wish one and all;
A MERRY CHRISTMAS
AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
How wonder familiar is a fool!

To a Marine
Honor is loyalty and dedication to God,
Country, Corps, Family, and Self.
You can take the man/woman out of the Corps,
But you can't take the Corps out of the man/woman!
TO THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
THAT OTHERS MAY SAY PROUDLY
I AM A MARINE
