It about 6 weeks long, we're now in week 3 or about half way.
We workout the from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
From 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM we attend classes on nutrition and changing one eating habits to go with exercising for a better life and lass medication.
Right now, we're leading to the presidential election in November.
I been trying to keep an open mind, but all I hear are negatives by John McCain.
I'm praying that he might see where he going wrong and offer us some new ideas and a way out of Iraq.
Just before I came here, I was seeing a video, where some of the leadership of the military, some now retired, question his temper and how he loses it too much, not good for a leader, who will have his finger on the trigger to our nuclear weapons.
He claims it just a minor thing, is he in denial?
The major issues the next president will have to face are the war in Iraq, housing and the mortgages of homes, high gasoline and diesel fuel and high unemployment.
I'm looking for somebody, with new ideas to get us out of this quagmire 7 1/2 years in the making.
This month, I turn another birthday,Ill be 68 on the 24rd of this month.
Where did time go?
About 50 years back, I was standing on the yellow foot prints at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California.
The next ten years, I would see service in various place and we also took a little trip towards Cuba during the 'Missiles of October' in 1962.
1965 we were heading west to go east and Vietnam.
I was there 4 months because my 2 year tour in Hawaii had came to end, the next 10 months I was a Primary Marksmanship Instructor (PMI) at Edson Range on Camp Pendleton in California in 1966.
I than got orders ordering me back to Vietnam by late October 1966, I returned in December of 1967, which was close to having me doing a 14 month tour instead of 13, that nothing, the Right Guide of the platoon that I was Platoon Sergeant almost was going to be fighting in Vietnam as a civilian because he was days from his discharge from the service.
Well, I think I'll close for now.
