The term ides was used for the 15th day of the months of March, May, July, and October, and the 13th day of the other eight months. In Roman times, the Ides of March was a festive day dedicated to the god Mars and a military parade was usually held.
So we're a day away from the Ides of March, for some it was good luck for others like Julius Caesar it wasn't a lucky day.
We still might get some snow in this month, so we're not of the woods in that department.
Early this month, I took a trip to the VA hospital in Pittsburgh PA.
The specialist told me that he was going to have a few doctors look at my MRI and from that they would decide if I needed surgery.
So far, I haven't heard from the VA in Pittsburgh.
Maybe no news is good news.
I will go with whatever they decide.
If one kidney is what I have to have out, one can live with one kidney.
Well, that will be all about that.
