Link: A Day of prayer by Muslims in the USA
In the words of one who was there; "America is not perfect," Abdul Malik, an organizer of the event called Islam on Capitol Hill, told the crowd.
"But I will say something it took me my whole adult life to come to: America is not perfect, but I want to tell the truth: It is one of the best places in the world to live."
Yet, in all fairness, there were some there to protest.
The protesters are confusing a religion with individuals that will as soon as kill Muslims as anybody else, to get a point across.
In a few years in time, we will normalize relations with the Middle East as we did with Vietnam.
The Middle East might need us more than we need them, we need their oil and they need the produce that this nation produces.
Maybe, we should have a day of prayer for all faiths.
But that brings us to law suits being filed because that maybe violated some laws about separation of the church and state.
But, we're not talking a church, just the faiths of this nation.
