Why do people blog?
Or, do you think people really care what you have to say?
I tend to say what is on my mind at any given day/time.
Some I try to state what are the important days or day of a given month.
Like the month the 12th was Columbus Day and the 31st will be Halloween Day.
Some would want to do away with Columbus Day, while others want to away with Halloween because it might be worshiping the devil.
But in my way of thinking, that not the case, it a day when children can use their imaginations beside its one of the days that candy makers make a great deal of money.
On the 31st if you're driving, keep an eye out for 'trick or treaters'.
The 18th of this month is a day I would like to forget, because on 18th October 1967, was a day a company of my battalion; Hotel Company 2nd Battalion 1st Marines was ambushed and my platoon 1st platoon, Golf Company 2nd Battalion 1st Marines was on point.
My 6th sense told that our enemy was close by, but the dense vegetation made it hard to see off the trail, we were traveling on.
The dense vegetation was the reason we had to travel on trails cut by the Vietnamese.
It took me a long time and searching on the internet till I came on the last of four Marines, the team I was part took up to an extraction point, where helicopters were landing.
All the while the helicopter was there, we were taking incoming rifle fire.
I think the totals were 19 Marines dead and 14 Marines wounded.
May God grant them eternal peace we pray.
Well, so much for all that...please excuse the procrastination on my part, must be getting lazy.
