I too find it odd, many have the spirit of Christmas for say a month.
Than it back to the same old thing.
Talking about Christmas, here in Pennsylvania.
We not even close to Halloween, and I have already seen Christmas stuff for sale.
It's seem that the merchants can't wait.
To make a buck or two.
On Marines, I think it comes from being such a small service.
As opposed to the Navy and the Army.
I think the bonding in boot camp, carries on.
And we tend to see the fault/faults of other Marines.
I hope and pray that most try to live up to these values;
