The 10th day of this month we celebrate the 235th Birthday of the Marine Corps.
On the 11th day, we celebrate Veteran Day.
And the 25th day we celebrate Thanksgiving Day here in the USA.
Which reminds us that we are indeed lucky to have been born in this nation.
More so being a veteran of it's military, in the Marine Corps.
Stephen Decatur made this toast; "Our Country. In her intercourse with foreign nations may she always be right; but our country right or wrong."
But does a patriotic stands by without questioning policy that wrong?
The Marine Corps Core Values that we were taught in the Corps and the core values we taught before.
Should have lead us to question the policy that got us war with Iraq in 2003.
And to tell the truth.
Much like my dear friend and fellow Marine Bill Ojala did during the Vietnam War.
We're heading in the right direction now after much that was done in our name.
Thanks God!

It must be forged, tested and used.
It must be passed down.
And woven into the very fabric of our souls.
Until it becomes our nature."
