Some have already been posturing for the election to come.
Painting their opposition as dirty as possible.
Thinking themselves the model as the perfect American.
If such a thing ever existed.
Sometime in my past, an elderly gentleman told me; if you want to know about history, just keep on living.
Well, he sure was right, I have seen some good and some bad history.
I hope by the year 2012, we will have seen Afghanistan and Iraq for the last time.
I pray that some might have learned a hard lesson.
Its easy to start a war, ending a war is the hard part.
Nation building should not be part of this all volunteer military's mission.
And these two wars have led to too many multiple deployments.
Causing stress in some marriages and stress in every individual of this all volunteer military.
Let America's youth,
Never forget the price of freedom.
But better yet let her leaders,
Know who does the paying.

It must be forged, tested and used.
It must be passed down.

Until it becomes our nature."
