What comes next I have to disagree.
Because some people memoirs.
Might shed some light on history.
MEMOIRS
"They are generally written by people.
Who have either entirely lost theit memories.
Or have never done anything worth remembering.
Which, however, is, no doubt, the true explaination.
Of their popularity, as the English public.
Always feel perfectly at its ease.
When a mediocrity is talking to it."
- Ernest
From Oscar Wilde's
The Critic as Artist
"Our splendid physique as a people.
Is entirely due to our national stupidity."
- Oscar Wilde'
Oscar Wilde sure does lay it on his nation.
But in a sense, it might also apply to the nation of my birth.
Some have gotten what I call Imperial Hubris.
Thinking that all the ills of mankind can be solved at the end of a rifle.
And we're paying for that type of thinking.
A military with military toys, will look for a place to play.
Disregarding what will come next.
Than we build 'memorial walls'.
Also we will erect statues.
I think it would be better to aid the widows, children and the returning veterans.
Look for their welfare and health.
I think, what's happening in the Middle East.
Will be taken over by men with agendas.
That do not favor the rest of the world.
Sad, but that's the reality of it all.
Take Care my dear friend.
