This message board is in support of members of the Marine Corps and their relatives, and friends
Besides celebrating and observing the heroic deeds done by Marines for this great nation.
It's also a time to remember or reflect the Marines we served with in peace and war.
Some of the Marines we remember most are those that died in some battlefield.
1st Lt. Frank Stanley Reasoner USMC
L/Cpl Randall Kenneth Campbell USMC
Pfc Carl Richard Wenzel USMC
Marines that I served in Bravo Company 3rd Recon.
Among the Marines that were killed in Vietnam in 1965.
The Marine Corps Birthday of 1964, I remember as one full of joy and happiness.
Little did we know 1965, would bring a great deal of sorrow.
We must remember and we must never forget.
11 November or yesterday, Veterans Day, was a day to honor all the veterans of this great nation.
Some also include those that have past away.
But Memorial Day is a day to honor the men and women that died in the service of the U.S military.
A lot folks also have made a day to remember members of their families.
The 24th is Thanksgiving Day in the USA.
We have a lot to be thankful for this year.
On seeing the close of the Iraq War.
A war of choice not of necessity.
We mourn all those that died in that foreign land.
Besides all those wound in mind and body.
The nation MUST do all it can, to help them heal.
With that said, I will now close this blog message.

It must be forged, tested and used.
It must be passed down.
And woven into the very fabric of our souls.
Until it becomes our nature."
