Yes, I'm late again, it must be the holiday season.
Today being the 12th of December, is nine days from the winter solstice or the official start of winter.
Three days later is Christmas Day.
Six days later it New Year's Eve.
Where has time gone?
We will start time towards 'Doom's Day' if the Mayans were right.
Some have 'Doom's Day' as 12-21-12 while others have it as 12-12-12.
To me, 12-12-12 looks and sounds better.
