This month is month of joy for me because it's the month of many birthdays in my family.
May 8 is my wife's birthday and then on th 26th of May we celebrate my son and grandson birthday.
Two days before the birthdays of the 26th is Memorial Day, a day set aside to honor those that died in service to the Nation, but now many honor their own dead.
It's well that we honor and remember those that went before us.

We're in the middle of a war on terrorism and with each day the ranks of the "Fallen" get's biggger.
We pray for and end to this madness, but now we're in the same boat as Vietnam.
We must stay the course or those deaths will have been in vain...
