The death toll is over 150,000 and counting.
Survivors face the difficult task of burying the dead and than try to rebuild.
Many are poor countries that have very little to start with, that will make rebuilding a difficult or almost an impossible task.
Charities are trying to help the survivors from day to day.
Many have send their military to aid getting food where' its most have a need.
I doubt that we can ever get enough for those poor people to rebuild.
We're still trying to get back from those terrible hurricanes that hit some of Southern and Eastern States.
Not much help came from the international community, because they consider us a rich country.
For sometime I've been thinking was that earthquake of .9 on the Rickert scale an insulated case or could it happen again in that same region?
Only God, knows the answer to that.
I wish that this New Year would be better than last year.
Many died in Iraq, military and civilian, American and Iraqi.
Elections are a few days away, if they're not put off as some now want to do.
When will it ever be the right time?
When will Iraq ever be safe enough for an election.
Did our government make a big mistake by invading Iraq?
If the answer is yes, all the dying and suffering of those wounded will have been in vain.
I pray that not the case.
Some Iraqi's say, Iraq is better now with Saddam gone.
Yet the media does not convey that message to the American people.
With that I'll close this month message.
Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR
