The past two weeks the temps have been in the 70's & 80's days and 60 or 70's nights.
So far we had two days & nights in the 20's in October. The rest has been very warm.
The trees are dropping their leaves and the yards are all dead from lack of rain.
Out of the last three nights when a large number of planets were visible... the last two have been covered in clouds. Thankfully I got a few photos.. on the one clean night of the big dipper, Orion and a few of the planets. Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Saturn, Pluto and one of two others.
They were visible by eye for the sky was crystal clear. The moon was not visible... shinning so the only lights I had to worry about were my neighbors porch lights. Which if she had been here I could have asked to turn off.
Unfortunately all the planets being visible is not a rare event but not all that common. I hope I am still around for the next sighting.
I wonder what this year will bring my home. There are hints of possible changes. Time will tell.
Have a great weekend.
