Oooo, that sounds good. Whenever someone makes a Monte Cristo, I always watch how they do it, and think of you!
Maybe Kara will give you the recipe for that topping for the sweet potato casserole, and you could do it that way?
Yeah green bean casserole, lol! I'd eat it right this minute, if there was one made!
When we still had people coming over, those are the 3 pies that I made, also. Delicious!
So then, you will start cooking for Thanksgiving *looking at watch* tomorrow? I know that I got to where I'd make it in parts over about a week's time.
I'd put out the bread to stale, or use the oven, on low, in batches. I'd make the cranberry sauce ahead, etc. etc.
I always meant to cook the onions and celery ahead for the stuffing, but it seems like I'd be sauteeing it the morning of, about 1/2 the time.
Luckily, after the earliest years, we started putting the turkey in the bbq. That freed up my kitchen, and made it Dh's problem, lol!
I'm sure that your dinner, and the leftovers, will be delicious!
