Answer: Have you ever been listening to a song and felt a chill run up your spine? Or perhaps goosebumps tickle your arms and shoulders? The experience is called musical frisson, a French term meaning "aesthetic chills." While scientists are still unlocking the secrets of this phenomenon, research has traced the origins of frisson to how we emotionally react to unexpected stimuli in our environment, particularly music. Studies have shown that roughly two-thirds of the population experience this effect.

The son of the composer of the “Star Wars” theme gained his own fame.
John Williams is regarded as the greatest film composer of all time, having composed some of the most iconic movie scores in cinematic history. In 2005, the American Film Institute selected Williams' score to 1977's Star Wars as the greatest film score of all time. Williams has composed scores for many critically acclaimed movies, including the Star Wars saga, Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Superman, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, among many others. It turns out that the apple doesn't fall far from the musical tree; his son, Joseph Williams is the lead singer and frontman for the rock band Toto.
