Answer: The average person has about 10,000 taste buds. That number may seem like a lot, but it pales in comparison to the catfish. That's because a catfish has taste buds not only in its mouth, but all over its body. It has about 20,000 taste buds in its mouth, and an additional 180,000 taste buds on the outside of his body, which means that in all, it has 20 times as many taste buds as humans. These exterior taste buds help the catfish search for food and sense harmful substances as he scavenges in dark, muddy water. Although catfish have sight, they don't need it to hunt down their food.

Snoopy was one of Charles Schulz’s earliest Peanuts characters, appearing for the first time on October 4, 1950, just two days after the comic strip’s debut. Schulz loosely based Snoopy on a black-and-white dog he had as a teenager. The cartoonist originally planned to call his cartoon dog Sniffy, but shortly before the comic strip launched Schulz was passing a newsstand and noticed a comic magazine featuring a dog with the same name. Finding himself in need of a new name, Schulz remembered his mother’s suggestion that the family should name their next dog “Snoopy.”
