Lots of chaos over my forms I have to fill our EVERY YEAR. Now confusion over the property taxes. Boy is trying to deal with that as well as picking up boxes to be shipped to the Philippines via cargo ship. Which means Houston often twice a week.
The yard is a sand box of dead wild flowers, smaller trees and even the blackberry bushes all long the back fence are dying. I want to cut them way back anyway. But can't mow with all the rock and fossils as that could start a fire.
That Red Tip by the front door has lost half it's foliage. SIGH!
The New Scrub Blue Jay has a mate now. Yeah.
The neighbor put in an extremely tall Safety light that tops all the trees near his house and turns my driveway into a pool of light pollution.
his has cut back on my photos of stars and planets. DANG IT!!!
I have so much free food in my kitchen and that I have to use the dining room table to hold most of it if I want to meal prep. Luckily I did not order anything from Schwans... as I received the free veggies from the Imperfect Foods delivery service due to a glitch in their SKIP AN ORDER programing. It's awesome fruit and veggies. I am sharing with my downhill neighbors as they are both cooks at local school and the county is giving away extra food to students to help them through the Thanksgiving week.
They both brought home turkey and stuffing and gravy so I have two sets of that in put it????
The kids brought a food box from SA so now I have 10 lbs of russets... more pears, and a huge bag of Lemon juice with pulp and lots more veggies. I will be keeping what I can in bowls on the sink or as above on the dining room table.
I had hoped since my neighbors Butcher box had not arrived yesterday that they hadn't opted to cancel it like she wanted. I texted her and she said they were delivering sat. OH NO!!! I am running out of room in my freezer.
I had to order some of my favorite tea (now anyway) from Amazon it is TAZO Green & Ginger tea.
It is perfect for early mornings or nights.
Also some toasted Sesame seeds and Cracked black pepper. I need a real pepper grinder. I have one but I use so much I want a refillable one. I am reluctant since the one I have is - guess where? Yep MN. SIGH!!!
No more news on the Property tax changes. I can barely stand to think about it.
So I spent an hour using my crank washer doing laundry. Jeans, bathroom towels, etc., and some clothes: shirts, and stuff.
Today I will do more towels and all the kitchen whites - bar towels, dish towels. rags (a separate load. I only use white so I can bleach.. and some vinegar....with it to be arm and sunny the whites get pretty clean... the rags, not so much. LOL
Another project is to put together DD's box and send it off Monday via the mail carrier.
I had an eye exam a month or more ago. I called my Dr to find out why they hadn't called. Apparently they did but never left a voice message... and dropped me due to my not responding to their call. DUH!!! I need to find out why they wanted to see me and what they discovered before I find another Optometrist. But the way the virus is gaining strength in Texas.. I probably won't go to town (in SA) till things get better.
Well, this past week has been a real mix. And the chaos has all created stress. There is a circumstance with dd that I am dreading but I don't have to deal with that for a year or so. I am trying no to think about it right now.
But with an embarrassment of riches in food I am trying to share. I don't have the room in my freezer for much and I can't give up my own food to save hers. I hate situations like this.
It is foggy every am then the sun burns off the clouds and it is warm and breezy. It was upr 60/70's overnight and warming up to 80 later.
Well Off to feed all the critters, After which I will fix a breakfast of bacon, eggs and potatoes.
Then I will use my crank washer to do more laundry. With weather like this I can't not take advantage. During the winter I dry clothes in the bathrooms and the library which is the warmest room besides my bedroom. I also hung out my quilt and bedspread for airing yesterday as well.. Oh so fresh. I will do the same with two blankets. I can't put those large items in the crank washer. LOL
Well have a great weekend and pray that that Butcher box is not too large. Pam said she will call me this morning. But tell me what?
Sometimes life is very complicated. Yes? No? LOLOL
