Close to Home was really strange! It was a murder mystery and I had no clue until the very end who the killer was and it was a shock, but looking back I, like the main character, a psychologist, should have figured it out!

I'm reading right now, These Sorrows We See. Matty goes up to Windsor to watch her step-brother's farm while he is away. She was expecting to just dog-sit 5 dogs, but found rabbits, chickens, a garden and cows besides the dogs. She tries and tries to get ahold of her step-brother, who she's only met less than a handful of times during their lives....and then someone cuts off the toe of one of the dogs, a man falls from a tree into the bed of her truck and strange things are going on. She has met the vet....and his family has a strange history of them meeting someone, knowing that's the one and marrying in a month.
