front steps. I also can't climb onto the wall to feed the squirrels as it the gate posts are frozen solid. I had to go the long way round.

The squirrels are out along with the birds. I treated them to extra parrot food. They love all the big seeds.

Unfortunately I am now nervous as my power flickered about 6:30 this morning. I dread two things, Fire and no power in the winter.

Hope you are all doing ok. Charlie and I can walk as long as I use the front door. The driveway is dirt and rocks... so is my entire yard but for patches of ground cover.

There have been one or two cars and a motorcycle driving down my hill. The ice is to last till next weds at the latest. Last time 2018 it lasted two days only. This is much worse.

Fortunately I received all my fresh groceries yesterday. But with the ice to continue through next week I probably won't order anything till the storm is over.

My son was set to drive to H this morning. I spent a half hour talking him down from driving at all. Luckily I had him look up road conditions to H and there has been an accident that closed off the way back home.

Apparently car tires became frozen to the road. People are running out of gas. It is a mess and that convinced him NOT to drive at all.

I am so thankful he changed his mind. He can be very stubborn.

Am off to do chores and hopefully find some time to restart knitting a large throw for DD that is halfway completed. I finally found it yesterday... it was buried in a box in her closet. LOL Unfortunately one of the needles came out of the entire length. I don't know if I can get it back in to continue the row I was working on. LOL Oh well, I may just take it apart and start all over.

Time for breakfast - hummmm? what shall I have? LOLOL!
