First her general health is excellent. But because she is so stubborn she has an added problem.
The other day when I posted I left out at her request that her Dr found water in her heart. She was sent immediately to the Hospital where she had surgery.
THey slightly sedated her then cut into her chest then into her heart. I need to add that the sedation was not strong enough and she was in extreme pain through the entire process.
THey put a tube in her heart and it has been draining since then. It was recently removed.
Though they wanted her to go live at a rehab or have a nurse live in her apt with her. She refused both and demanded to prove to them she was able to walk, and take normal care of herself.
Two days ago one of her sons took her to dinner. Afterwards they stopped at a Rite-aid store. They argued about her walking in.
She got out of the car instead of waiting for her son to come round and help her. She made it to the sidewalk when she fell not only hitting her head - lots of blood but overall not a bad injury - but, she broke her left hip.
OMG! It was all I could to keep from going ballistic. We have had some interesting conversations and mildly argued but this ... well I won't go on!
She is determined to live normally. I told her that if I'd been there I would have gone out and brought dinner back. And no way would she have gotten out of the car.
That was 3 days ago?? I think. Today she is exercising and raising her legs to see her rage of motions. The right leg is 10. Her left leg is not as good but better then they expected.
She must sleep on her right side only and when turning from her back again only turn to the right side.
Just to be clear she fell three nights ago around 4pm. She had her left hip fixed at 2am the next morning.
They told her they checked her out and her overall health is great. Their words.
They have her doing leg lifts - the left is not good but better then they expected. She may be moved to a new room in a day or two.
She will call me after they move her to her new room. She sounds very tired. But is just as obstinate as a two year old.
If you want to call her, etc. Please wait for her to call me with her new room number and the name of the hospital. Then send me an email or text me.
I will not be stressed, I will not be stressed.
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
