[ Post a Response | Tea Time ]
Weathet-wise, it was a wild week for us. Last weekend, we were
still dealing with the remains of the ice storm that went through. We had a bit of snow on top of that. On Monday, we had a snow storm got through, and there was more snow than they thought we would have. On Wednesday, another snow came and was also more than they expected. Our street was covered for most of the week. Schools were closed all week with President's Day being on Monday. We have not had mail since Tuesday. On top of the precitpitation, we had some really cold days. We did not get above freezing for 11 days, and some of the nights were in the single digits. We did fin and never lost power, but going was rough. Tonight we, have rain, and the high today was int he 40's. It will go below freezing again tonight, but things should be find tomorrow.
Kenzi enjoyed the snow some, but didn't stay out long when the temps were so low. She was much happier today. Of course, the cats see no difference.
Glad to hear the hens are laying. Nothing like fresh eggs.
I hope the tree trimming goes well, and you can get the log moved.
